Copyright Policy
For the Sikh Wallpapers & Gurbani mobile app · Last updated: June 11, 2026
In short
We respect copyright and Sikh sacred heritage. If you believe content in the App infringes your rights, email us and we'll review and remove it promptly.
1. Our commitment
CodeAlly respects the intellectual property rights of others and the spiritual heritage of the Sikh community. We expect users of Sikh Wallpapers & Gurbani ("the App") to do the same. This policy explains how we handle copyright concerns and how you can report content you believe infringes your rights.
2. Ownership of content
Wallpapers, artwork, audio, and other materials in the App are either created by us, licensed to us, or used with permission. Sacred texts and Gurbani are the spiritual heritage of the Sikh community and are presented with respect and without any claim of ownership over the scripture itself. The App's design, code, and original artwork remain the property of CodeAlly.
3. Respect for sacred content
We take great care to present Gurbani and devotional imagery accurately and respectfully. If you believe any content is presented incorrectly, disrespectfully, or should be removed for reasons of reverence, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
4. Reporting infringement
If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act on their behalf) and believe content in the App infringes your copyright, please email contact@codeally.dev with the subject line "Copyright Notice" and include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Where in the App the allegedly infringing content appears (a screenshot helps).
- Your contact details (name, email, and address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we will review it promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content in question. We may also notify the affected party. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 3–5 business days.
6. Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same email explaining why, along with your contact details and a statement of good faith. We will review counter-notices fairly before restoring any content.
7. Repeat infringers
We may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe the copyright of others.
